The scoop: Stewart-Haas Racing announced in June that JR Motorsports driver Josh Berry would take over for the future Hall of Famer and pilot the No. 4 Ford entry starting in 2024.

The scoop: On Dec. 13, Stewart-Haas Racing announced it had signed Gragson to a multiyear deal to take over the No. 10 Ford previously held by Aric Almirola. Gragson requested his release from Legacy Motor Club in August after suspensions by the team and NASCAR. Competition officials lifted his suspension Sept. 12, reinstating his membership privileges.
